Suns up high, waters swellin’… seems to me to be a fine day fer some fishing. Sure, you look alright. Yer boat could use some work, not to mention that pole you’re carrying, but you’ll likes to catch some bass today.
Eh? You said you fixin’ to go out and catch “The Big One”? Hah… that’s a story they just tell you young folks.
Don’t get too caught up in all of that ya hear? Sides, that ain’t what fishing s’all about. Maybe when you catch that “Big One” you’ll understand, hah!

I'm gonna be real, I played this expecting it to be a horror game and thought "The Big One" was gonna be some kind of fish monster.
Nope, just a chill fishing game. I'd say it could fit pretty well as the obligatory fishing mini-game of some rpg
pretty fun, but i think it could be better! wish there was better upgrades, and a bit more variety of fish [less of the little bass, there was so many even though i was maxed out on everything.] i also couldn't get back to the menu, so i couldn't quit! that really sucked!!
I LOVED THIS GAME! I just wish it was longer and had more like upgrading the boat or new fishing locations. I would pay for a full version of this game. Here's my playthrough if anyone's interested!

ah, how fun. the gameplay style reminds me of the game Flight, and similar launcher/flight games. really, really sweet, even if it's short-lived. great job!
amazing game. I found myself so eager to meet the big one. and it did not disappoint. I spent my entire evening (about 2 ish hours, with decently long breaks in between.) And I had so much fun. this may be one of my top five games now, it will forever be in my heart. I cannot wait for the day I play this again, the beautiful image of the gender ambiguous fisherman with purple hair and the brightest Hatsune Miku blue eyes I've ever seen to cross my path once more. until we meet again. Reel Out!
cute game!! it's so rare to find something using these kinda retro graphics that isn't horror, i love me a good horror game but man this is peak, i was stupidly happy abt catching The Big One
